‘Fauji’ release date locked

Pan India star Prabhas is currently busy with two big projects. On one hand, ‘The Raja Saab’ directed by Maruthi is set to release on January 9 as a Sankranti gift, while on the other hand, ‘Fauji’ directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is set to hit the screens in August next year.

As part of the ‘Dude’ promotions, Mythri Movie Makers producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar themselves gave this update. There is no plan to postpone ‘Fauji’ under any circumstances. It will be released in August. We will also complete the shooting accordingly,’ they clarified. On the other hand, the first look of the title of this movie will be released this month as a special birthday for Prabhas.

Hanu Raghavapudi is making this movie in the backdrop of a 1940s period war drama. Prabhas will be seen as an army officer in it. The film is being made as a story that combines emotional touch and visual grandeur in the style of ‘Sita Ramam’.

Bollywood actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and senior beauty Jaya Prada are playing key roles, while newcomer Imanvi is being introduced as the heroine. It is being advertised that this film is being made with the biggest budget in Prabhas’ career.
