Kollywood's crazy composer Anirudh Ravichander is undoubtedly the leading music director in the South Indian film music scene these days. He is also the busiest music director. He is making his mark with many high-profile projects in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Recently, he has been focusing more on Telugu films.. and expanding his reach in the industry.
After NTR starrer "Devara", Anirudh has signed Vijay Deverakonda starrer "Kingdom", Nani and Srikanth Odela combo movie "The Paradise". For "The Paradise" he is reported to have taken a remuneration of Rs. 12 crores. This is Rs. 2 crores more than his previous fee.
Now the latest talk is that.. Anirudh is quoting Rs. 15 crores for new Telugu projects. He assures producers that his music rights alone can fetch that amount or more, given his immense popularity and the demand from top music labels.
Along with big films like “Jailer 2” and “Jana Nayagan” in Tamil, and projects like “King” starring Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood, Anirudh is picking up Telugu films and signing them at high prices. His growing demand… pan-India appeal clearly speaks to his chartbuster track record.
