Dhanush's agony over the change in climax

Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Raanjhanaa’, directed by Anand L. Roy, was released in 2013 and became a huge success. Currently, this movie is once again in front of the audience as part of the re-release trend. However, the climax of this re-release version of the film has been changed.

With the help of AI technology, the emotional ending where the hero dies in the original version was removed and a happy ending was added. Dhanush reacted strongly to these changes. ‘The climax created with AI has killed the soul of the film. Even though we objected, these changes were made without our permission. This is not a film that I committed to 12 years ago. Changing the content of films in this way is a work that hurts art and artists. Strict rules should be brought to prevent such practices,’ Dhanush said in his post.
