Dhanush is just a friend: Mrunal Thakur

Gossip columns and social media have been abuzz with speculations that there is something going on between Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush. The speculations intensified when Mrunal started following Dhanush's sisters on Instagram. Many thought that there was something more than friendship between the two.

In a recent interview, Mrunal put an end to these speculations. He clarified that Dhanush is "just a friend" to him.. and nothing more. He also clarified the discussions about Dhanush appearing at his film events. He said that he did not invite him, but his friends who are actors invited him. Although these comments have largely put an end to the speculations, Mrunal has not made any comments on why he started following Dhanush's sisters.

Dhanush.. got divorced from Aishwarya after 18 years of marriage. Mrunal has appeared at events twice. On the other hand, Mrunal is single after his last breakup. As for films, Dhanush is currently busy with his upcoming Tamil films. Meanwhile, Mrunal is awaiting the release of her next Telugu film ‘Decoit’, in which she stars alongside Adivi Sesh.
