'Detective Ujjwalan' is coming!

There were reports that the film 'Detective Ujjwalan' starring Malayalam young star Dhyan Srinivasan in the lead role will be released in May. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Vishu festival, the film team officially announced that the film will be released in theaters on May 16. Dhyan will be seen in the role of a detective named Ujjwalan in this film, which is the debut of the directorial duo Indranilol Gopikrishnan and Rahul G.

The story revolves around Ujjwalan, who is trying to find out the truth behind the suspicious incidents taking place in a village. A new poster was also released to announce the release date. "Uncover the truth, unravel the mystery, hunt. The masked man awaits," the poster reads.

The film stars prominent actors like Siju Wilson, Ronnie David Raj, Kottayam Nazir, Seema G Nair, Kalabhavan Nawas, and Nirmal Palaji in key roles. Moreover, Amin, Nihal Nizam, Nibras Naushad, and Shahubas, who have become popular on social media, are making their debut in films with this film.

The film is produced by Sophia Paul under the Weekend Blockbusters banner. It is the second film in the Weekend Cinematic Universe. The universe was started by the 2021 film ‘Minnal Murali’, directed by Basil Joseph and starring Tovino Thomas. Also, ‘Zombie’, directed by George Cora, which is being made with a zombie theme, is also a part of this universe.
