Crazy movies are gone!

It is common for actors to lose some good films that they were initially offered. Sometimes.. after actors join a film project, they back out due to various reasons in the middle of shooting. Such incidents are rare but they do happen.

Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan was initially supposed to play the heroine in Adivi Sesh's upcoming film 'Decoy'. The posters and teaser for the film were also released with Shruti. However, after completing some shooting portions, she opted out of the project due to creative differences. She was replaced by Mrunal Thakur. 'Decoy' is set to release on December 25.

Srileela

Despite having done many films in her career, Srileela has turned down some offers that she received. She was supposed to play the heroine in Naveen Polishetty's 'Anaganaga Oka Raju'. But, she opted out of the project due to a date clash and Meenakshi Chowdhury was selected.

Similarly, Srileela also dropped out of Akhil Akkineni's Lenin after shooting some key scenes. As a result, the producers had to look for another actress and finally Bhagyashree Bhorse was selected.

Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde has been struggling with a series of flops for the past few years. Unfortunately, due to these flops, other trending actresses are being selected in her place. It is reported that she was being considered for the heroine in Pawan Kalyan's Ustad Bhagat Singh. But at the last minute, the producers chose Srileela.

Recently, it was reported that young Malayalam actress Mamita Baiju has been roped in to replace Pooja Hegde in Dhanush's film, which is being directed by Vignesh Raja.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone was initially considered for the lead role in Prabhas's film 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, Sandeep had to drop her due to her demands. Later, Tripti Dimri was selected in her place.
