Charan's career is 18 years old.

September 28, 2007.. A new chapter began in the Telugu film industry. As the successor of Chiranjeevi and a new hero to the Mega family, Ram Charan made his debut with the film ‘Chirutha’. Directed by Puri Jagannath, this film achieved success and gave Charan a good base. Charan’s energy, dance, fights, and screen presence attracted everyone’s attention from the first film itself.
Ram Charan’s career found a turning point only with his second film. ‘Magadheera’, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, became a milestone in the history of Telugu cinema. This film, which was made with action, romance, and reincarnation elements, established Charan as a top star.
Subsequent films like ‘Rachcha, Nayak, Yevadu, Dhruva’ further strengthened Ram Charan as a commercial hero. Ram Charan has shown his uniqueness in all types of roles, from action to style. He reinvented himself as Buchi Babu in ‘Rangasthalam’. Until then, Charan was only known for his dance and fights. He also proved himself as an actor with ‘Rangasthalam’.
After ‘Magadheera’, Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ with Charan once again achieved international success. The role of Alluri Seetharama Raju played by Charan in this film received praise at the global level and made this mega hero a global star. In total, the cherry on top of his career that started with ‘Chirutha’ is completing 18 years tomorrow. Charan, who has done only 15 films in these eighteen years, is now making his 16th film ‘Peddhi’ and his 17th film under the direction of Sukumar.
