God of Masses Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu are teaming up for the mass entertainer ‘Akhanda 2 – Thandavam’. The hype over the sequel has increased further as the previous release, Akhanda, was a super blockbuster.

Initially scheduled to release on September 25, the film was postponed due to post-production work. The film is being taken on a pan-India level. It is said that Balayya himself dubbed the Hindi version for this film. This is a daring step taken by Balayya and has become a topic of discussion in the industry.

Samyukta Menon is playing the heroine in this film and Aadhi Pinisetty is playing the villain. There is talk that Thaman’s music will be more mass-oriented this time. The action blocks are also being designed at Hollywood level. Now, there is a new discussion on the release date of “Akhanda 2”, which was shifted from the Dussehra slot.

There were rumors that “Raja Saab”, which was planned for December 5, may be shifted to January. Since that slot will be vacant, "Akhanda 2" will be released in December. But now the industry talk is that Sankranthi has been targeted for Balayya's movie. If that happens, the upcoming Sankranthi battle will become something special with Balayya, Chiru, and Prabhas. Previously, these three competed in the 2004 Sankranthi ring.

Now, Nandamuri fans are creating full hype on social media for the film "Akhanda 2", which is being made with a huge budget under the 14 Reels Plus banner, saying "January means Nandamuri's box office". All in all, if "Akhanda 2 - Tandavam" comes out on Sankranthi, it will be a real festival for the mass audience.
