'Arjun Reddy' beauty in 'Idli Kadai'!

The upcoming Tamil rural drama movie ‘Idlikadai’. It is being directed by multi-talented actor Dhanush. Moreover, he will also be seen in the lead role in this movie. Earlier, this movie was supposed to be released on April 10, clashing with Ajith’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’. But it was postponed due to some pending work.

Now, the movie ‘Idlikadai’ will hit the theaters on October 1, 2025, cashing in on the Dussehra holiday season. Tamil hero Arun Vijay is playing the villain in this movie. According to the latest buzz, ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Shalini Pandey will be seen as Dhanush’s sister and Arun Vijay’s wife in this rural entertainer.

This is Shalini’s second Tamil movie after ‘100% Kaadhal’. Shalini is now being super selective in her film selections. It remains to be seen what magic Dhanush will do with her character. Nithya Menon is playing the heroine opposite Dhanush. Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures are jointly bankrolling this project, and GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music. The movie will be released in Telugu with the title ‘Idlikottu’.
