AR Rahman admitted in hospital!

Renowned music director AR Rahman was admitted to the hospital in the early hours of Sunday. The 58-year-old Oscar-winning music composer was suffering from chest and neck pain and his family members immediately rushed him to Apollo Hospital in Chennai.

The doctors treating Rahman have conducted some tests. He is likely to undergo an angiogram soon. However, fans need not worry. It is reported that Rahman will be discharged soon.He recently returned from a foreign trip. The doctors at Apollo Hospital will issue an official statement on Rahman's health.

As soon as this news was known, Rahman's fans and film industry personalities are praying for his speedy recovery on social media. It is worth noting that Rahman's ex-wife Saira Banu underwent surgery a few months ago.Rahman, who ended their 29-year marriage in November last year, has been in the news for a possible reunion after Saira Banu thanked him for his support during her surgery.

Rahman's recent albums Chhaava and the Tamil film Kadalikka Neramillai received good response. He is also composing music for Ram Charan's RC16 and Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan's Thug Life.
