Nandamuri Balakrishna, who has earned a special recognition as a leading actor in the Telugu film industry and a public servant in the political field, has achieved another rare record. Balakrishna rang the bell that signals the start of trading at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the country's financial capital, Mumbai, along with representatives of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital. He made history as the first South Indian actor to achieve this feat.

He described the occasion as 'not my personal victory, but a symbol of the self-respect of our Telugu people'. It is known that celebrities like Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and actor Ajay Devgan have also rung this bell in the past.

It is noteworthy that Balakrishna has received this recognition at a time when he has completed 50 years in his film career, for his public service and efforts for cancer victims. Recently, he got a place in the World Book of Records in London, and now the NSE honor has also been added to his account.

Balayya's upcoming film 'Akhanda 2: Tandavam' directed by Boyapati Srinu is likely to hit the screens in December. Balayya, who will entertain with mass action on screen, is also a source of pride for the Telugu people with his special records in real life.
