Altaf Salim as ‘Innocent’

‘Mandakini’ actors Altaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar have fixed the title ‘Innocent’ for their new film. The film is being directed by debutant Satish Thanvi. The first look poster of the film was unveiled at an event held in Kochi. The film is being made as a comedy entertainer. The story is written by Shihab Karunagappally.

Azis Nedumangad and Anna Prasad are playing key roles in the film. Innocent is being produced by M Sriraj AKD under the banner Elements of Cinema. Dixon Pothu Das, Najmudeen, directors Ajay Vasudev and G Marthandan are acting as executive producers. The shooting of the film is currently going on in Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram.

One of Altaf’s upcoming films is ‘Manmadhan’ directed by Anas Kadalundi. Also, he is gearing up for his second film as a director, ‘Odum Kudira Chadum Kudira’. The film stars Fahadh Fazil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. The film is set to release in theaters on September 4, on the occasion of Onam. On the other hand, Anarkali is also working with Gaganachari’s team again for the zombie film ‘Vala’.
