We all know that the casting couch problem has always existed in the film industry. Recently, actress Saiyami Kher opened up about this issue by revealing her experience. It is noteworthy that early in her career, she said that a Telugu female agent advised her to 'adjust' for film opportunities.

Speaking in a recent interview, Saiyami said that a bitter incident she encountered early in her career had deeply hurt her. 'I was shocked when a female agent told me to adjust to certain things for opportunities. When I heard her words, I pretended not to understand what she was saying. But when she kept repeating the same words, I realized that she wanted to drag me down that path and made it clear that I would never agree to such things,' Saiyami said.

She clarified that this was the first and last time she had received such a proposal from a woman. Saiyami, who started her journey with the Telugu film ‘Rey’ in 2015, later went on to act in Bollywood films like ‘Mirziyaan, Ghoomar, 8 AM Metro’ as well as web series and received acclaim. Saiyami, who is currently busy acting in Hindi and Telugu films, gained fame this year by playing the role of S.I. Vijayalakshmi in the movie ‘Jaat’.
