Actor Mukul Dev has passed away

Veteran Bollywood actor and former model Mukul Dev (54) passed away due to illness. He breathed his last at a hospital in Delhi on Friday (May 23) night. He had been suffering from illness for the past few days and was undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital and was finally unable to recover.
Along with his brother, veteran actor Rahul Dev, film personalities, close friends and fans were shocked by this news. His close friends revealed that Mukul Dev spent his life alone after the death of his parents and mostly did not leave the house or meet anyone.
Mukul Dev was born in a Punjabi family in Delhi. His father Hari Dev was a former police commissioner. Mukul worked in the aviation industry before entering the acting field. However, with a passion for cinema, he started his acting career in 1996 with the television serial ‘Mumkin’. The same year, he entered the film industry with the film ‘Dastak’ along with Sushmita Sen.
Mukul Dev is known as a versatile actor. He has won the hearts of the audience by acting in multilingual films like Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam. In Hindi, his roles in films like ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardaar, R... Rajkumar, Jai Ho’ have earned him a good reputation. In Telugu, he has impressed with his villain and key roles in films like ‘Krishna, Ek Niranjan, KD, Adurs’.
