Aamir's mother's performance at the age of 90!

Bollywood star Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his new film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 20. Aamir is currently busy promoting the film. In an interview, he revealed that his 90-year-old mother Zeenat Hussain is making her acting debut with the film.

According to Aamir, his mother Zeenat once wanted to visit the sets of Sitare Zameen Par. She came to the set while the song “Happy Wedding” was being shot. Then the film’s director RS Prasanna asked Aamir, “Sir, can I ask your mother to be a part of this scene? This is the last song in the film, the wedding ceremony scene. She can easily be a guest. Please, this is an emotional moment for me, I want her to be a part of this film.”

Initially, Aamir was against the idea. He said that his mother does not like such things and she is very insistent. However, at Prasanna's insistence, Aamir decided to ask his mother, thinking that she would not agree. But, when he asked, Zeenat agreed immediately without any hesitation. Aamir was shocked to see her agree.
