A key discussion on development issues is held in Delhi by the speaker

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Honorable Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu paid a courtesy call on the head of GMR Constructions at his residence in Delhi. In this meeting, the Speaker expressed his gratitude for naming the Bhogapuram International Airport after Alluri Seetharama Raju. He said that implementing the name of the freedom fighter for an ambitious project across the country is not just a mark of respect but also a decision that will inspire generations. The Speaker opined that whenever the name of Alluri Seetharama Raju is heard, the spirit of freedom struggle, sacrifice and courage come to mind.
After the discussions on the Bhogapuram Airport, there was a detailed discussion on the ambitious construction of the Tank Bund in Narsipatnam. This project is not just a construction, but an infrastructure facility that will improve the living standards of the local people and help in the development of tourism. The Speaker suggested that GMR's experience, technical knowledge and management skills are required for the quick and efficient completion of this project. It is reported that GMR suggested that the work should be undertaken keeping in mind the quality of construction, timeliness and the needs of the people.
The decision to name the Bhogapuram airport and the construction of the Narsipatnam tank bund - these two projects together have doubled the development hopes of the people of Uttar Andhra. There is a belief that international standard trade and job opportunities are going to come through the airport. Locals believe that once the construction of the tank bund is completed, a new chapter will begin in tourism, business and conservation of water resources.
TDP State General Secretary Chintakayala Vijay also participated in this meeting. The leaders present expressed confidence that projects like Bhogapuram airport and Narsipatnam tank bund will lay a strong foundation for the development of the area.
