YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has responded to Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi's comments that the EC had stolen votes in favor of the BJP in the last parliamentary elections. Speaking to the media on the allegations of BJP cheating in the by-elections, he questioned why Rahul Gandhi was keeping silent on the irregularities in the Andhra Pradesh elections. Jagan said – “Why is Rahul Gandhi not talking about Andhra Pradesh?” he directly asked. AP Insider Congress President YS Sharmila also criticized why she did not say a single word on the issue of Chandrababu. Liquor belt shops are increasing in this state, sand and land irregularities are happening. Why are they not talking about these?” He questioned.

In Jagan's opinion, the reason for this is that the Congress high command, Chandrababu Naidu, and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy are all on the same line. That is why he accused Rahul Gandhi of being silent on the AP issue.

Also, Jagan reminded that the EC has still not clarified how the 12 percent vote difference in AP came about in the 2024 elections. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for not saying a single word about the difference of nearly 40 lakh votes. With these comments, Jagan further heated up the political atmosphere in AP.
