Update on the 4th day of the film workers' strike
The Telugu film workers' strike continues for the fourth day. Due to this, shootings in Tollywood have come to a standstill. Key discussions will be held between the producers and the federation members at the Film Chamber today. After the discussions, the federation members will meet FDC Chairman Dil Raju, as well as Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy and Megastar Chiranjeevi in the afternoon. The federation members said that they will abide by the decision taken by Chiranjeevi. The two main demands of the film workers are.. Wages should be increased by 30%, and the increased wages should be paid on the same day.
The federation members said that they will take a further decision after knowing the terms set by the producers in detail in the discussions to be held today. The federation condemned People Media producer TG Vishwaprasad's comment that "cine workers do not have skills". Also, speaking on the shootings' strike, Mythri Naveen said, "The industry situation is very tough. The markets are not good.. Non-theatricals have decreased." Producers and workers hope that as a result of these discussions, the issue will be resolved and shooting will resume.
