TTD Chairman about Subrahmanyam’s comments

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) Chairman BR Naidu has reacted to the comments made by former General Secretary LV Subramaniam. He recently said, “It is not possible to provide devotees with darshan of Lord Shiva in one hour through AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology.” BR Naidu strongly objected to these comments.

Speaking, BR Naidu said that he felt that these comments were made without proper understanding of AI technology. He said that at a time when technological revolution is happening all over the world, it is natural for TTD to also move forward on that path. He said that TTD is working to provide a more convenient darshan system to devotees using modern technology in collaboration with leading companies like Google and TCS.

Also, Naidu clarified that their goal is to significantly reduce the darshan time of devotees while providing these services free of cost. He said that all the programs are being done as per the resolutions taken by the TTD board and it is not right to describe such works as wasteful. Finally, he stated that Subrahmanyam's comments were "left to the intellect."
