Telugu man in Oscar Academy!
The world's highest film honor is the Oscars. Tollywood VFX supervisor Yugandhar Tammareddy has been selected for the 2025 membership of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which organizes these awards. He has provided VFX for more than 125 films in the Telugu film industry and has gained recognition across the country with films like 'Rangasthalam, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Devara'.
Yugandhar, who entered the field of VFX in 1999 with Mahesh Babu's film Rajakumarudu, has taken the visual presentation of Telugu cinema to a new level for three decades. His journey, which started with trailer editing, has continued with more than 50 top directors like Sukumar and Trivikram.
This year, Yugandhar, along with Kamal Haasan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Payal Kapadia, and Maxima Basu, has been awarded this prestigious membership, which is a recognition of Indian technical talent. Yugandhar, who has showcased Telugu VFX talent on a global scale, is receiving praise from Tollywood as well as across the country.
