Surya's 'Retro' to be released on OTT

The film ‘Retro’ has become one of the biggest openings in the career of Tamil star hero Suriya. This romantic action thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj.. not only did well at the Kollywood box office but also received critical acclaim. The film is now set to enter OTT.

It was announced a long time ago that ‘Retro’ will be released on Netflix. Now this OTT giant has finalized the date for streaming from May 31, 2025. Although Netflix has not yet made an official announcement on social media, the film starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde is listed among the upcoming films on Netflix.

The story of ‘Retro’ revolves around a character named Pari. Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Nassar, Prakash Raj, Karunakaran, Swasika, Ramya Suresh play the lead roles. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film was produced by Surya, his wife Jyothika Santhanam, and Rajasekhar Pandian. Music was composed by Santosh Narayanan.
