After almost 15 years, Tamil star hero Suriya is set to appear in a straight Telugu film. His last straight Telugu film was ‘Raktacharithra 2’ directed by Ram Gopal Varma in 2010. Since then, his Telugu film career has been limited to dubbed versions of Tamil films. Against this backdrop, Suriya has earned a huge fan base in the Telugu states. He has impressed the audience especially with films like ‘Surya Son of Krishnan’, Ghajini, Aaru, Jaibheem’.
Suriya has not experimented with anything beyond Tamil films. His recent films ‘Retro, Kanguva’ have disappointed at the box office. She made her Bollywood debut with 'Saitan Srikanth' in 2024. Later this year, she also entered OTT with 'Dabba Cartel'. Jyothika will soon act in a courtroom drama with Sonakshi Sinha.
