Sukumar to start script work

It is known that Tollywood's brilliant director Sukumar has been taking a break for some time. "Pushpa 2", which released in December 2024, was the biggest success of his directorial career. However, the stampede that took place at the Sandhya Theater after the release of the film caused great inconvenience to both Sukumar and Allu Arjun.

Currently, Allu Arjun is gearing up for his next film. The movie will be directed by Atlee. Meanwhile, Sukumar is taking a complete break and is spending more time with his wife and children. He has decided to take a break for another month.

It is said that Sukumar will start script work for his next film from June. Ram Charan will be playing the lead role in this film. Although Sukumar already has a point in mind, it needs to be developed into a full-fledged script. For this, he will be holding brainstorming sessions with his writing team and will also take their suggestions and scenes into consideration. The entire process is likely to take five to six months.

Ram Charan is currently working on a film titled “Peddi” directed by Buchi Babu. He will shift to his next film only after the completion of that film. Therefore, Sukumar is getting more time to complete the script. “Rangasthalam”, which came in the Ram Charan-Sukumar combination, was a huge success. Now that the two are going to work together again, there are huge expectations on this new project.
