'Retro' run time?

Kollywood star hero Suriya's 'Retro' is all set for a grand release. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, this romantic action entertainer will hit the screens on May 1st, on the occasion of International Labour Day. There is a good positive buzz about this film. The film, which stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, has recently completed its censor formalities.

The censor board has issued a U/A certificate to the film. The total runtime has been fixed at 168 minutes (2 hours 48 minutes). Although this may seem a bit long, they say that if the screenplay is good, the length is not an issue. Karthik Subbaraj's 'Peta' and 'Jigarthanda Double X' also have a similar length.

The theatrical trailer and audio of the movie ‘Retro’ are about to be released. Will Suriya get the long-awaited success with ‘Retro’? It has become interesting to see. Joju George, Jayaram and Karunakaran play key roles in this film. Produced jointly by Suriya and Jyothika under the banner of 2D Entertainment, the film has music by Santosh Narayanan.
