Priyadarshan announces super combo movie

Bollywood Khiladi hero Akshay Kumar and Mollywood super director Priyadarshan will be working on another project before the movie ‘Hera Pheri 3’ in their combination. There were whispers that this movie is an action thriller and its title is ‘Haiwaan’. Now director Priyadarshan himself has officially announced the movie and… along with the title, he has also confirmed the main cast. Priyadarshan shared a photo taken with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan at Lord’s on his Instagram and wrote, “‘Haiwaan’ is my next movie, with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.”

In the shared photo, the ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ pair are seen chatting together… enjoying the match. Akshay Kumar looked stylish in a beige blazer, white shirt and goggles in a salt and pepper look. Saif Ali Khan looked charming in a blue shirt and spring aviators. Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are playing the lead roles in this film. The film is said to be an action thriller.

It is said to be a remake of the Malayalam film 'Oppam' directed by Priyadarshan. While Mohanlal played the hero in the original film, it became one of his blockbusters. According to the latest information, the shooting of 'Haiwan' will begin in August 2025 and will be ready for theatrical release in 2026. It is reported that Akshay Kumar will be seen in a negative role in this film, while Saif Ali Khan will be seen as a blind man.
