Permission granted to increase ticket prices for 'Kubera'

The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the increase in ticket prices of the movie ‘Kubera’. Nagarjuna, Dhanush and Rashmika are playing the lead roles in this film directed by Sekhar Kammula. ‘Kubera’ is set to release worldwide tomorrow. On this occasion, the Andhra Pradesh state government has issued orders allowing the increase in the prices of higher class tickets in multiplexes and single screen theaters by up to Rs. 75 (including GST). This price increase will be effective for the first 10 days (from June 20 to June 29).

The producers of the movie ‘Kubera’ have applied to the state home department through the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce for an increase in ticket prices. The government took this decision keeping in mind the production cost of the movie, grand production value and audience interest. The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the increase in ticket prices for this movie as it has allowed ticket rates to be increased for big films in the past.
