Nithin's 'Thammadu' is coming to OTT

‘Thammudu’ is a film produced by ace producer Dil Raju and starring Nithiin as the hero. Unfortunately, the film was a huge disappointment at the box office. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film failed to impress the audience. As a result, the team suffered huge losses.

However, the film ‘Thammudu’ is now entering OTT. Netflix has announced that the film will premiere digitally on August 1, 2025. What makes this release interesting is that the film is being launched as a pan-south OTT in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

The producers are hoping that the film will reach new audiences as well as the audience that could not be impressed in theaters. The film has a star cast including Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Varsha Bollamma, Saurabh Sachdeva, Swasika, Hariteja, Srikanth Iyengar, Temper Vamsi, Chammak Chandra. The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

It remains to be seen whether the film will succeed on the streaming platform or not, but for now it is another important addition to Netflix's South Indian lineup. And it remains to be seen whether Thammudu, which completely disappointed the audience in theaters, will succeed on OTT.
