Mohanlal as 'Dosa King'?

Tamil Sensible Director T.J. Gnanavel impressed many with his debut film ‘Jai Bheem’. This courtroom drama was released directly on Amazon Prime Video and touched the hearts of many. Although Gnanavel showed great talent with this film, his second film ‘Vettaiyan’ with superstar Rajinikanth did not impress much. The film disappointed many people including the fans.

As a result.. Gnanavel was criticized for not being able to handle star heroes. Now there are reports that he is going to work with Mohanlal. According to information from film sources... There is talk that a biopic based on the life story of Saravana Bhavan owner P. Rajagopal is going to be directed by Gnanavel with Mohanlal as the hero. Rajagopal successfully established his Saravana Bhavan restaurant and expanded it to various countries. However, Rajagopal was found guilty of ordering the murder of an employee’s wife as his third wife.

He died in 2019 while serving a life sentence. It is learnt that the project has been tentatively titled ‘Doshking’. However, fans want Gnanavel not to repeat the mistakes he made in his last film ‘Vettaiyan’. He was criticised for adding unnecessary commercial elements to impress Rajinikanth’s fans. Also, it was clearly seen in this film that he faced pressure to handle a star hero.

Now Mohanlal is no less than Rajinikanth in Kerala. If Gnanavel works with Mohanlal, the pressure will be at the same level. Gnanavel should stick to his craft of telling his story honestly.
