Lookout notice issued to Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is once again embroiled in legal troubles. The couple, who were previously embroiled in business-related cases with her husband Raj Kundra, are now embroiled in a new controversy. Recently, Shilpa Shetty also closed her restaurant business in Mumbai.

On Friday, the Mumbai Police issued a lookout circular against the couple in a multi-crore fraud case. They are accused of cheating businessman Deepak Kothari to the tune of Rs. 60 crore.

Kothari alleged that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra collected Rs. 60 crore from Deepak Kothari from 2015 to 2023 in the name of business expansion and promised to repay the money with 12 percent interest annually, and that Shilpa Shetty herself gave a written assurance in April 2016. Shilpa Shetty has strongly denied the allegations. She has called the case baseless, malicious and intended to tarnish her reputation.
