Is Amitabh Bachchan getting paid that much for KBC Season 17?

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the 17th season of his iconic quiz show "Kaun Banega Crorepati". According to reports, with this new season, he has become the highest-paid television host in India. Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly charging Rs. 5 crore per episode, which means Rs. 25 crore per week (5 episodes).

Earlier, Salman Khan took Rs. 24 crore for the episodes of Bigg Boss OTT Weekend Ka Vaar. If the latest reports are true.. Big B has surpassed Salman to become the highest-paid television host in India. Amitabh Bachchan is continuing to host the show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" that started in 2000. Except for the third season.. Amitabh has always been the host. That season was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.

Amitabh's high remuneration is justified given his long association with the show, which he has been hosting for 25 years. The veteran actor was last seen in the superstar Rajinikanth-starrer "Vettaiyan", a film that focuses on fake encounters.
