Hope on these two movies!

The 2025 summer season has left the Telugu film industry disappointed. Usually, during the summer holidays, at least half a dozen big movies featuring top stars and midrange stars, and another dozen small budget movies make a splash in the theaters. But this time the situation has changed.

This season was started by Nithiin's "Robin Hood". However.. this movie was a huge flop. Only two midrange movies starring Sidhu Jonnalagadda and Kalyan Ram were released in the month of April. These too could not achieve the expected success at the box office.

There are very few releases in the month of May. Midrange star Nani will start the month of May with "Hit 3". There are huge expectations on this movie. The openings are also likely to be strong. Also.. Vijay Deverakonda's "Kingdom" is set to release at the end of May. Although there is not much hype for this film at the moment, Vijay's youth following has created a certain amount of craze.

In between these two big films, only small budget films like "Single" starring Sri Vishnu and "Shubham" produced by Samantha will try to attract the audience. Ravi Teja's "Mass Jatara" and Chiranjeevi's "Vishambhara" were supposed to release in May, but have been postponed.

Moreover, Pawan Kalyan's "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" was also supposed to release on May 9, but that too has been postponed again. So far, there is no clarity on the new release date for this film. Only if Pawan's film is released before the summer holidays end on June 10, can we see a top star film in this summer season. Otherwise, this time the summer will end without the Telugu audience getting a taste of top hero films.
