Crazy director releasing Hindi version of Malayalam thriller

Veteran director Anurag Kashyap is presenting the Hindi version of Malayalam thriller "Footage". The Hindi trailer of this film has been recently released by the film team. The Malayalam version released in theaters on August 23 last year and became a super hit.Saiju Sreedharan not only directed the film but also edited it. Manju Warrier, Vishak Nair and Gayatri Ashok played the lead roles.

If you look at the trailer... this movie is based on the sudden events that happened in the life of two couples during the covid-19 pandemic. Suspense begins when some secrets are revealed in the apartment where they live. The film is shot in found footage style.Wandering through the forest late at night with torches, they seem to be exploring mysterious scenes recorded on their cameras. But the actual story is not fully revealed in the trailer. It sounds like a mystery thriller.

Sharing the Hindi poster, Anurag Kashyap showered praises on the film on his Instagram platform. It is a found footage thriller set during the time of Covid. After watching this movie in the theater, I was surprised by the way it was made.The film is shot from two different perspectives. Saiju Sreedharan and his team have shown excellent performance. Manju Varrier, Vaishakh Nair and Gayatri Ashokan have taken the film to another level with their performances.
