Akshay is going to insure 650 stunt men

The recent death of stuntman SM Raju on the sets of director Pa Ranjith's film 'Vettuvam' has shocked the Indian film industry. The dangerous lives of stuntmen have once again come into focus. The 52-year-old Raju died while driving an SUV during a dangerous action sequence during the shooting of the movie 'Vettuvam' on July 13 in Nagapattinam. The incident has led to a heated debate on social media about the safety of stunt choreographers.

In this context, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has come forward to provide insurance to about 650 stuntmen and stuntwomen across the country. Senior stuntman Vikram Singh Dahiya.. who has worked in films like 'Oymyaji 2, Jigra, Anthem, Gunjan Saxena'. He thanked Akshay for this great work.

This insurance policy.. whether injured on or off the set 5 lakh to Rs. 5.5 lakh will cover cashless medical treatment. People on social media have praised Akshay's action, saying it is a miracle even if it is late. Some other stars are hoping to support stuntmen and other technicians who risk their lives on film sets.
