A Pan India movie every month
The first six months of 2025 were dull without any big hits at the box office. But.. the second half looks promising. Except for November.. a pan-India film will be released every month. This is the list of those big films..
1. July
Power star Pawan Kalyan's most awaited movie 'Harihara Veeramallu' is set to release on July 24. Directed by Jyothi Krishna and Krish Jagarlamudi, this period action drama is set in the Mughal era. Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the role of a warrior who fights against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
2. August
In August, two pan-India big films 'Coolie, War 2' are going to clash at the box office on August 14. While ‘War 2’ is an action drama starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, ‘Coolie’ is a multi-starrer action film starring Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan. This clash is going to be a huge battle.
3. September
September will see pan-India films releasing on multiple release dates. Teja Sajja’s much-awaited ‘Mirai’ will be released on September 5. Similarly, Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’ and Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’ will clash at the box office on September 25. Both these films are being made in pan-Indian languages.
4. October
In October, Rishabh Shetty will be hitting the screens with Kantara: Chapter 1, the prequel to his super hit film ‘Kantara’, on October 2.
5. December
December is a big month in North India. Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab', Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' and Shahid Kapoor's untitled film are all set to release on December 5. During Christmas, the much-awaited 'Avatar 3' along with Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur's 'Decoit' are set to release. Apart from these big films, Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Vishvambhara', Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom', Nikhil Siddhartha's 'Swayambhu' and Anushka Shetty's 'Ghaati' are also set to release this year. But the release dates of some of them are yet to be finalized.
